DMCA Policy
Lumen (lumenstream.tv) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512, we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement committed using our service.
1. Designated DMCA Agent
Lumen has registered a Designated Agent with the United States Copyright Office to receive notifications of claimed infringement.

2. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that content available on Lumen infringes your copyright, you may submit a written takedown notice to our Designated Agent. Your notice must include all of the following:
- Your full legal name and contact information (address, phone number, email).
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the infringing material and information sufficient for us to locate it (e.g. the URL or file location).
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.

3. Our Response to Takedown Notices
Upon receiving a valid DMCA takedown notice, Lumen will:
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content promptly.
- Notify the user who uploaded the content that it has been removed.
- Provide the user with a copy of the takedown notice (with your personal contact information redacted if requested).
4. Filing a Counter-Notice
If you believe your content was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to our Designated Agent. Your counter-notice must include:
- Your full legal name and contact information.
- Identification of the content that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your judicial district, and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original takedown notice.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, Lumen will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10-14 business days, we may restore the removed content at our discretion.
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
Lumen maintains a strict repeat infringer policy. Users who are found to have repeatedly uploaded infringing content will have their accounts terminated. We reserve the right to terminate accounts at our sole discretion.
6. Limitation of Liability
Lumen acts as a neutral storage and streaming platform. We do not monitor, curate, or endorse content uploaded by users. We are not liable for any infringing content uploaded by users and will act promptly upon receiving valid takedown notices.
